Treasurer

Nathan Vogelsang

My name is Nathan and I will be the Treasurer of Board 10 this year. I am now in my second year of my Civil Engineering master, following the Structural Engineering track.  I have been studying in Delft since 2019, so I am currently in my 6th year of study.

I was born in the city Deventer, in the east of the Netherlands. Later I also lived in Lelystad, Hoorn and Alkmaar (or actually Broek op Langedijk, but nobody knows that).

In my spare time, I like to play the piano and I try to learn to play the guitar! I also enjoy running sometimes (but only with nice weather! Yeah, I know I'm weak).

I have really enjoyed all the events and activities I have participated in at U-BASE over the last year. From all the get-togethers to a trip to Korea, it was a great experience. Last year I got the opportunity to get to know U-BASE and to be part of the U-Profiel committee. It was a great year in which I had a lot of fun, met people and also got to learn a lot. This year I will be part of being the QQ'er on the Concrete Canoe  Race committee where I hope to have another great time like last year.

My role as treasurer is everything within the association related to money. My responsibilities include preparing a budget for the association for the academic year and keeping an eye on income and expenses of events, committees and all of the other fun things of U-BASE.
