Hello everyone!
I am Rajat, and I’m a second-year Master’s student in the Structural Engineering track. This year, I’m excited to serve as the Promotion Board Member for U-BASE Board 10!
Originally from Nepal, the land of mountains, I’ve been living in the Netherlands for a year now. It’s been an incredible experience, from exploring the new landscapes to immersing myself in the Dutch culture and meeting so many wonderful people. U-BASE has truly been one of the highlights of my time here, where I’ve had the chance to attend various events and connect with some of the best people. My favorite event so far has definitely been Ice-skating!
I’ve always been passionate about structures and the fascinating stories behind them, which led me to join U-Profiel last year. Along with designing the magazine, I also wrote three articles for it. This year, I’m proud to take on the role of QQ for U-Profiel.
In addition to my love for structural engineering, I also enjoy photography! Find me in Insta to see some of my work ;) I am also taking on the role of QQ for Media Committee, and you’ll likely see me capturing moments at U-BASE events this year.
Finally, as the Promotion Board Member, my role is to ensure that everyone is informed about the many activities and events U-BASE has to offer. I’ll also be working to enhance U-BASE’s presence within the faculty and beyond.
